Guitar and Music Production Lessons

About lessons

Individual

In individual lessons, we work on music through its different aspects: music theory, audio-perception, reading, repertoire and improvisation; as well as different styles; all based on the interests and needs of each student.
Previous knowledge is not necessary. All that is required is a desire to learn and enjoy music.
If we find the motivation, it will just take time and practice.

Online

Technology has been changing the way people interact for years. That is why since 2012, I decided to conduct online lessons and thus bring them closer to many people who live a great distance from my studio. These lessons include the same method and the same content, but from the comfort of your home.

Groupal

By interacting with other musicians, we learn the importance of rhythm and attentive performance towards our "environment." In group classes, we work on coordination with other guitarists, creating a space for personal and collective development. The groups are small (maximum 8 people) and we try to assure that everyone arrives with a similar musical level.

The Teacher

My name is Lisandro Garnero. I was born in Piamonte, a small town in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina. I discovered music through my sister, who taught me to play my first chords. Then I started to study guitar with a private teacher from my town. After moving to Buenos Aires, I entered the Instituto Superior Santa Ana and earned the degree of Artistic Guitar Teacher. I also graduated from EMBA as a Musical Producer and a Sound and Recording Operator Technician.
I have studied guitar with several instructors: Agustín Mollo, Sergio Arias, Ricardo Lew, Gustavo Sadofschi and finally with Gustavo Collazo. I also have experience with piano, violin, and singing lessons.
In 2009 I began giving private guitar lessons at my home and guitar workshops at two schools: Jesús en el Huerto de los Olivos and the Santa Ana school in the city of Villa Ballester.
At present I am the tenured chair of Guitar and the chair of T.I.C. Sound and Education at Santa Ana Superior Institute. I am also a secondary-level instructor at ISASJ, where I teach Music and Multimedia and Combined Artistic Languages.
